Instructions for Presentation at Poster Session

A special poster session will be held on Monday and Tuesday, May 5 and 6, 2008 in or near the Conference Exhibit Hall. All coffee breaks and the lunch break will take place in the exhibit hall. Please note that during the breaks all conference guests are expected to visit the exhibit hall for refreshments, to socialize with the colleagues, to visit the display booths, and to attend the poster session.

Guidelines for Posters

The following instructions are for those individuals who have been invited to present their papers at the Poster Session:

• You will be responsible for the set-up and take-down of your poster. We will contact you regarding the booth set-up and take-down times. There are no provisions for receiving, storing, or returning poster presentations; this is the responsibility of each presenter.
• Bring a supply of business cards to exchange with interested attendees, and a sketchpad and pen to elaborate on details. The poster boards provided for your presentation are rented and may not be written on, taped, or defaced in any way. You may use push pins for attaching the presentation material to the poster board.
• You may want to bring along a few copies of your paper for distributing to the guests.
• We will provide each presenter with a display board that measures 4 ft high and 8 ft wide, a table in front of each poster for materials, and a chair.
• Commercial advertising of products or services will not be allowed.
